Majlis Mesra Aidilfitri Manchester organized by MSD, MCCH n MCOT (kalau tak salah la, sbb dpt jemputan n pegi je) di Moss Side. Event start kol 11.00 pg, tp kami sampai around 12.30 dah.. Meriah betul n ramai sungguh org Manchester yg dtg.
Lps habis event.. trus jln2 cari letih kat Trafford Center.. saje.. bwk Abg Faizal n family gi jln2 kat sana

First Raya Manchester 2008

Tahun ni first time kami beraya berempat (first time Zarif sambut Aidilfitri), tp terpaksa beraya sendiri2 sbb duduk jauh... huhu..
Actually Raya hari Selasa, tp sbb Beny ada kelas everyday.. so, postpone celebration ke weekend. Kebetulan ada la Jasmy dtg all the way from Glasgow utk join sambut raya sama (actually, nak tlg pass charger camera yg kami tertinggal kat KL tu skali), Safiyya from Surrey yg dah ckp awal mase kat BTN lg nak dtg raya and Huda from Edinbrough pon jumpe mase kat BTN. Selain tu, default la jiran sebelah Ayil n family.
Kali ni, Ayil kata kami plak jadi host.. asyik2 rumah die je yg kene jadi host sbb kami kata rumah die suam2 sikit. Rumah kami plak all the time sejukkk jek. Tp ntah.. may be this time sbb kami ada tetamu kot.. rumah ni tak de la sejuk sgt..
So, plan dgn Ayil nak buat mkn2 sempena Aidilfitri utk kami yg tak celebrate since 4 hari yg lalu. Menu yg dah dipersetujui:-
1. Nasi Impit
2. Kuah Lontong
3. Kuah Kacang
4. Rendang Ayam
5. Apple Crumble (Esah's specialty)
6. Sambal Udang
7. Mee Rebus
8. Kuih Raya
Heheh.. kalau tgk menu,.. meriah kan.. ye laa.. first time raya sendiri2. Anyway.. semua berjalan lancar.. siap meriah sbb beny ada jugak jemput member kelas die yg dtg bwk rombongan skali..

Today is the day. Lps berbuka around 9 pm, semua bertolak ke KLIA. Beny pegi awal skit utk check in barang2. Thanks to those yg dtg ziarah before we all berangkat and hantar kat airport. Flight 12.55am on 13 September.
Sedih mmg sedih sbb tak pernah tinggalkan family utk jangka masa yg lama. Tp, demi impian yg dikejar.. Manchester here we come...

It is kind of sad to leave my current job even though I was just about 9 month or less with them. I am really enjoy working with them even some people said it was a bit tiring and tense with the work load. For me, it is something different from what I did before.
Thanks to Dr D for sponsoring the event. Thanks to everyone who came and thanks a lot for your wishes. I hope to see all of you again in 3 years time...
The event was held in San Francisco Pizza, Seksyen 8, Bandar Baru Bangi.

Finally, convo jugak.. eventhough byk cabaran yg mendatang.. hehehe.. this is my 2nd convo with MMU. 1st one masa undergrad.. yg tak best sgt2 sbb ramai sgt and they don't even call graduates' name. Luckily.. kali ni, everything went very well.
Mak n hubby yg masuk as guest sbb boleh masuk 2 org je per graduan. Mine is the first day first session, with the opening ceremony and all. Overall it was not that bad..
